How it Works

  • Based on practice configuration, appropriate  patients are automatically presented the PHQ-9 depression screener on the iPad

  • Individual responses and score are recorded in the discrete fields of the Screening Questionnaire section in athenaNet

  • The screening questionnaire is added to the billing summary in athenaNet (procedure codes can be mapped or entered manually)

  • Your practice can configure the PHQ-9 by:
